Shells with Rice

A lovely recipe from my childhood years with sense of sea.

  • Cup
  • tbsp

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 Midsize Onion
  • 2 C Shells
  • 1 C Long grain rice
  • 1 ds Black pepper
  • 3 Bay leaf
  • 4 3/4 tsp CBD hemp oil (Optional)

Instructions

  • Wash one cup of rise.
  • Take off liquid from Shells.
  • Put oil in the pot and heat.
  • Put the chopped onion. Fry till light gold colour appeared.
  • Add the rice and stir for 1-2 mins.
  • Add 3.5 cups hot water.
  • Add shells and herbs.
  • Cook for 15-20 min.
  • Add CBD oil and stir (optional).
  • Can be served hot or cold.

Notes

Serve warm or cold. You can enjoy with white wine.
