
Red lentil porridge

Ingredients
- 500 gr Red split lentils
- 200 gr Water
- 4 Spring onions
- 4 Garlic cloves
- 2 pn Salt
- 1½ tsp Red pepper
- 20 gr Parsley
- 100 gr Chopped tomatoes
- 4 tbsp Sunflower oil
Instructions
- Cut the onion and slice the garlic cloves.
- Preheat oil in the pan and put onion and garlic. Cook for 2-3 min.
- Add the red pepper and stir.
- Add the red split lentils and stir. Add water.
- Cook for 10 mins. and stir time to time.
- Add tomatoes and stir again. Cook for 10 mins.
- Release from cooker and add chopped parsley on top.
Notes
Serve warm. You can serve with sausage and fresh chili pepper/s on side.
