Istanbul kofte - meatballs
- Deep Bowl
- Deep plate/tray
- Deep pan or Pot
- Gas cooker
- Chop mushrooms, onion, garlic and parsley.
- Whisk mince, chopped veggies, herbs, eggs and bread crumbs together in the deep bowl. Кnead like dough. Leave to rest for 10 mins.
- Put the gram flour in big deep plate/tray.
- Form the small meatballs( around 2-2.5 cm diameter) with hands and put in the flour. After you made 10 meatballs shake the plate/tray to allow flour to cover completely meatballs.
- Put the oil in the deep pan and heat.
- Put the first portion of meat balls in the pan. Fry shaking with a time interval of 2-3 mins. till gold colour appear.
- Remove the meatballs from oil and place in a plate covered with a kitchen paper.
- Repeat previous steps as much as needed.
