Creamy potato soup with croutons
Easy to prepare, and feels like those classic soups your grandmother used to make when you were a kid.
Servings 4 people
- 4 Big potatoes
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 2 pn Salt
- 1 c Croutons I prefer homemade croutons (Just cut on small cubes your favourite bread and leave for 2-3 day in a tray in dry place. Keep croutons dry.)
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tsp Herbs I prefer italian mix herbs or Oregano and black plus white pepper.
- 4 ¾tsp CBD Hemp oil Optional
Peel and cut the potatoes on big cubes. Put in the pot. Add the water aprox. 1-1.5 cm over the potatoes.
Add salt and boil 20-25 mins.
Release from cooker, add the butter and stir with blender or mixer till very smooth consistantion appeared.
Preheat olive oil in the pan and add croutons and herbs. Cook for 2-3 mins.
Serve hot with croutons on the top. Enjoy.
Note: If you like to use CBD hemp oil reduce olive oil to 1-1 1/2 tbsp when prepare croutons. Add the CBD oil before serve and stir gently.
