Cold cucumber soup (Tarator)

Extremely easy to prepare lovely Spring-Summer cold soup.

  • 1 Cucumber
  • 500 gr Greek style yogurt
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 10 gr Fresh dill
  • 2 pn Salt
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 250 gr Cold water
  • 4 ¾ tsp CBD hemp oil Optional


  • Peel and grate the cucumber and put in a bowl. You may also cut the cucumber into cubes but it changes the look and the consistency.
  • Beat the yogurt with a fork until it gets liquid and pour it over the cucumbers.
  • Add the crushed garlic, the minced dill as well as salt and olive oil. If you will add CBD oil than use only one tbsp olive oil.
  • Add the CBD hemp oil (Optional)
  • Stir well till mix become homogene.
  • Add the water and stir again.


Serve cold. A good partner of Bulgarian Mastika, Greek Ouzo or Turkish Yeni Raki at the table 😉
1.You can put the mix (before adding water) in the fridge and use for several servings just adding water and stir before serve. Keep the mix covered in the fridge.
2. Can serve in a Beer or Coffee Mug.
